AI

Devmachinist can generate components, fix errors and rewrite code with AI. It knows your project: its components (and how to import them) and installed packages.

Where to use it #

• Generate a component from a description in the Library tab.
• In the code editor, the AI panel edits, fixes or rewrites the open file.

Output is checked before it reaches your project; broken code is repaired automatically once.

Providers #

A free built-in model (Google Gemini) works out of the box. In More → AI you can choose another provider — Anthropic, OpenAI, Groq, OpenRouter, Mistral, DeepSeek, xAI, Together — or any OpenAI-compatible endpoint, pick a model, and add your own API key. Your key is encrypted on the server and never shown again.
